URA FC Sweat Over Five Absentees Ahead of Police Clash as They Chase First Away Win
Tuesday, April 21
Police FC vs URA FC, 4pm, Kamwokya
URA FC will be without five players as they travel to face Police FC on Tuesday, as they continue their search for a first away victory of the season in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
Olimi Nyarwa, Hudu Mulikyi, Joseph Ssemujju, Abdu Magada and Arthur Kiggundu are all unavailable for the encounter.
Police FC will also be missing key players, with Mathias Muwanga, Otto Daniel, Ivan Eyamu and Derrick Maviiri ruled out.
URA head coach Hussein Mbalangu will be aiming to outmaneuver the hosts tactically as he targets a breakthrough result on the road.
The Tax Collectors head into the fixture following a 1-1 draw with BUL FC, while Police FC come in high on confidence after staging a comeback to defeat Mbarara City 2-1 away from home.
The reverse fixture between the two sides ended in a goalless draw, highlighting the closely contested nature of this matchup.
Last season, however, Police FC secured a home victory over URA FC, with Umaru Kasumba scoring a brace.
Speaking ahead of the game, Mbalangu emphasized the team’s determination to improve their away form.

“We want to win away for the first time, which has been our biggest challenge. We have worked on improving our defence and being more clinical in front of goal,” he said.
“We are in 11th position, which does not reflect our quality, and we must do everything possible to win on Tuesday.”
Police FC currently sit seventh on the table with 38 points, and a win could lift them to fifth place if results elsewhere go in their favour, particularly if Entebbe UPPC and NEC FC fail to win their matches.
For URA FC, victory would take them to 26 points, although they would remain in 11th position.
