Vipers overcome Stubborn UPDF

Vipers beat UPDF FC 2-1 in Bombo to secure maximum points and keep the league dream in sight.

Promising young midfielder Enrique Lubwama had scored the an equalizer for the hosts with 10 minutes to play.

The visitors commenced the game on a promising footing as winger Chukwuma delivered an inviting cross from the left that defender Da Slyva headed out as early as the third minute.

Lubwama eluded left back Enock Luyima but the young midfielder crossed hurriedly over the ball/

It was UPDF again in the 13th minute when Emmanuel Ochen had a cross towards the Vipers goal area but it was too high for the intended target.

UPDF suffered their 13th defeat of the season which leaves them on 13 points with plenty of worry to ponder about relegation threat at the final bend of the season.
