Preview: URA Seek Redemption
URA FC will be aiming to return to winning ways after a five-match winless run as they host Maroons FC this evening at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo, in the Uganda Premier League.
The Tax Collectors have lost three and drawn two of their last five league matches.
Maroons FC come into this fixture on the back of a 3-1 victory over Police FC. However, they have not won an away match since March 10, when they edged Calvary FC 1-0.
In the first leg, the two sides played out a goalless draw, while last season URA FC narrowly defeated Maroons FC at home courtesy of Moses Aliro’s first-half winner.

Historically, the two teams have been evenly matched, with URA FC winning three games, Maroons FC also winning three, and six matches ending in draws out of their 12 meetings.
Mbalangu’s side will be eager to secure maximum points as they also look ahead to their Uganda Cup campaign.
URA FC have reached the semi-finals and will face SC Villa in a two-legged tie to determine who advances to the final to meet either Kitara FC or Vipers SC.
A victory for URA FC would take them to 27 points while maintaining 11th position.
Maroons FC, on the other hand, would move to eighth position with 36 points if they win and BUL FC fail to beat NEC FC.
Stats – (12 League Meetings)
URA FC – 3 Wins
Draws – 6
Maroons FC – 3 Wins
Prediction: URA FC 1-1 Maroons FC
