KCCA FC will seeking for a fourth consecutive win when they host UPDF FC at Lugogo on Thursday night.

The Lugogo based side have enjoyed a good series of performances winning three of their last league games with wins coming against Kataka, URA and Ntugasaze respectively.

Despite a low start in the season, the Brian Ssenyondo coached side have picked the winning spark.

“Its not been the perfect performances as want but at least we have been getting results. We want now to put good performances on the pitch together with winning once again, Brian Ssenyondo told the club’s press ahead of the game.

Having won the FUFA Super 8 title this season, the goal for KCCA is to compete favourably as they seek to end their title drought.

They are currently 7th with 10 points after six games and a win against UPDF will help them close with leaders BUL FC who are now on 19 points.

The visitors UPDF FC will be seeking to bounce back having lost their previous game at home against BUL FC.

They are currently 10th with 8 points and it has been a low start for the army side.

Under the stewardship of experienced coach Hussein Mbalangu, UPDF will be seeking to avoid back to back losses in the league.

“We lost to BUL FC in the previous and we want to bounce back. I know Lugogo very well and we will go out for three Points, Mbalangu said ahead of the game.

They will be without experienced defender Aggrey Kirya who was sent off in their previous game against BUL FC but Mbalangu will use his other alternatives to pick any positive result away from home .
