Uganda Rugby player Conrad Wanyama marked a major milestone by making his 150th appearance for Stanbic Black Pirates as the 2025/2026 Uganda Rugby Premiership regular season came to a close.
Wanyama, who joined the Bweyogerere-based club during the 2016/2017 season, has grown into one of the team’s most influential and consistent players, playing a key role in the Pirates’ success over the years.
In their final regular season match against Walukuba Barbarians Rugby Club, Stanbic Black Pirates not only aimed to secure top spot but also celebrated Wanyama’s achievement.
The experienced player joined the club while still in Senior Six at St. Lawrence College.
Following the match, Pirates players, including Isaac Massangazira and Alex Aturinda, presented Wanyama with a framed portrait and the Man of the Match accolade in recognition of his 150 appearances for the club.

The Uganda Rugby Premiership regular season, which kicked off in February, concluded over the weekend of May 9, 2026, with matches played across different venues in the country.
Stanbic Black Pirates finished the regular season with 47 points after ending their campaign in emphatic fashion with a 57-6 victory over Walukuba Barbarians at Kings Park Arena.
