Uganda Cranes will play two international friendly matches in June 2026, the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) confirmed on Wednesday.
According to FUFA, Uganda will face Tanzania and Madagascar as part of preparations ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup period.
The Paul Put-coached side will first take on East African neighbours Tanzania on June 5 before facing Madagascar on June 8.
Both international friendly matches will be played in Marrakech, Morocco.
Uganda Cranes last played competitive football in December 2025 when they were eliminated in the group stages of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Meanwhile, CAF on Tuesday, May 19, conducted the draw for the 2027 AFCON Qualifiers.
Uganda, one of the three co-host nations for the tournament, were drawn in Group H alongside Tunisia, Libya, and Botswana, with the qualification campaign set to begin in September 2026.
The 2027 Africa Cup of Nations will be jointly hosted by Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya from June 19 to July 17, 2027.
Despite participating in the qualification process, the three host nations have already secured automatic qualification for the final tournament.
