Ugandan Duo Shaban, Sseremba Unveiled by Nairobi United

Kenyan Premier League side Nairobi United have confirmed the signing of Ugandan duo Muhammad Shaban and midfielder Joseph Sseremba.

The two players were officially unveiled by the club on Tuesday evening as the latest additions to the squad.

Shaban joins Nairobi United as a free agent after ending his short spell with Kitara FC, whom he joined in February this year.

The experienced striker, known for his goalscoring ability when at his best, has previously featured for KCCA FC, Vipers SC and Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca, among other clubs. He brings a wealth of experience to his new side.

Sseremba, meanwhile, joins Nairobi United from NEC FC, whom he signed for at the start of the previous campaign after leaving Kigezi HomeBoyz.

Since joining NEC, Sseremba established himself as one of the club’s standout performers, attracting interest from the Kenyan side.

The duo now join several other Ugandans at Nairobi United, including right-back Gavin Kizito, who joined the club last week, as well as left-back Mustafa Kiiza, Charles Waibi and midfielder Titus Ssematimba.

The new additions are expected to provide greater competition within the squad as Nairobi United target success in the domestic league and a return to continental football.
