URA Ladies Unveil Experienced Defender Patience Nabulobi

FUFA Women Super League newcomers URA Ladies FC have completed the signing of experienced defender Patience Nabulobi from Kampala Queens FC.

Nabulobi has joined the newly promoted side on a two-year contract and was officially unveiled by the club as their latest signing.

The defender, who is known for her aerial ability, game-reading skills and pace, becomes the second player to join URA Ladies from Kampala Queens (now KCCA Women fC) after the club recently signed her former teammate Shamusa Najjuma.

In a club statement, URA Ladies expressed delight at the signing, highlighting Nabulobi’s experience and winning mentality.

“We are delighted to announce the signing of experienced defender Patience Nabulobi from Kampala Queens FC on a two-year contract.

“A three-time FUFA Women’s Cup winner and one-time league winner, Nabulobi brings experience, strength and a winning mentality as we prepare for our historic FUFA Women Super League campaign.”

Nabulobi has won the FUFA Women’s Cup three times and the league title once, bringing a wealth of experience to the URA Ladies squad ahead of their debut campaign in the top flight.

URA Ladies are expected to challenge some of the league’s established sides for the title despite being newcomers to the top division.

The 2026/27 Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League is scheduled to kick off on September 12, 2026.
