The winners of the 2025-26 LFA Awards will be unveiled on Friday, June 5, at Springs Hotel, Bugolobi.

This will be the second edition of the awards, following the inaugural ceremony held in August 2025.

The nominees were voted for online, with the organisers confirming a total of 154,320 valid votes cast across all 39 categories.

The awards are grouped into seven sections: Player Awards, Coaching and Leadership Awards, Match Officials and Technical Awards, Media and Communication Awards, Football Community and Special Categories, Specialized Football Codes, and Platforms and Competitions.

In the Men’s Player of the Year category, also known as the Magidu Musisi Award, Vipers SC midfielder Karim Watambala is nominated alongside Ivan Ahimbisibwe, Yunus Sibira, Hassan Mubiru, and Hannington Sebwalunyo.
