Kawempe Muslim 2-0 Wakiso Hill WFC

She Maroons (8)0-0(9) Amus College WFC

Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC and Amus College WFC secured victories in their respective quarter-final matches on Sunday to complete the semi-final line-up of the 2026 FUFA Women’s Cup.

Kawempe Muslim defeated FUFA Women Elite League side Wakiso Hill WFC 2-0, while defending champions Amus College edged She Maroons 9-8 in a penalty shootout following a goalless draw after normal and extra time.

At Kawempe, Latifah Nakasi and Asia Nakibuka scored in the first half to guide the league champions into the last four and keep alive their hopes of completing a domestic double this season.

Wakiso Hill, who had eliminated 2024 champions She Corporate FC in the previous round, saw their impressive cup run come to an end at the quarter-final stage.

Meanwhile, Amus College survived a stern test from She Maroons in a tightly contested encounter at Jeph International Playground.

Despite several chances created by both sides, neither team could find a breakthrough during normal time or extra time, forcing the tie to be decided by penalties.

In the shootout, Amus College converted nine spot-kicks compared to She Maroons’ eight to seal a dramatic victory and book their place in the semi-finals.

The result keeps alive Amus College’s hopes of becoming the first team to successfully defend the FUFA Women’s Cup title.

Among the four remaining teams, Amus College are the only side to have previously won the competition. Kawempe Muslim, Kampala Queens, and Lady Doves will all be chasing their maiden FUFA Women’s Cup crown.

The semi-finals will be played over two legs on a home-and-away basis, with the fixtures scheduled between June 13 and June 17.

Semi-Finalists

  • Amus College WFC
  • Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC
  • Kampala Queens FC
  • Lady Doves FC
