Nakagolo and Asia Nakibuka also had chances to double Kawempe’s advantage, but neither could find the back of the net as the hosts carried a slender 1–0 lead into halftime.

Four minutes into the second half, former Kawempe Muslim striker Rebecca Nakato nearly leveled the score for She Corporate, forcing goalkeeper Saidat Namwanje to produce a spectacular save from a free kick outside the box.
She Corporate’s hopes of a comeback were dealt a major blow when goalkeeper Molly Naava received a straight red card for handling the ball outside the penalty area, reducing her side to 10 players and shifting the momentum firmly in Kawempe’s favor.
Substitute Kevin Nanyunja sealed the victory for the Valley Warriors with a second goal just four minutes before the final whistle, sparking wild celebrations among the home supporters.
