Defending Champions Vipers will be seeking to bounce back to winning ways when they visit URA FC on Saturday at Nakivubo stadium under the lights.

The Venoms suffered a shocking 1-0 loss to Mbarara City in Kamwenge earlier this week on Wednesday.

It was a poor start for interim coach John Ayala Luyinda who was in charge of his first game, following the sacking of French tactician Denis Lavagne.

The loss saw Vipers drop to the 8th position with 11 points after seven games this season.

It’s not been the best start for Vipers, who have had mixed results ever since the start.

And against URA, a quick response will be demanded from Ayala and his men to avoid quick upsets in their title defence.

A couple of their senior players including Milton Karisa, Abdul Karim Watambala, Farouk Miya will be expected to up their game so as to get their ship back to the right track.

On the other hand, URA will be hoping for a second consecutive win when they welcome Vipers at home.

The Tax Collectors ended their winless streak in the previous encounter when they beat UPDF by 1-0 in what was Sam Simbwa’s first game since his return as head coach recently.

And any positive result against Vipers will send a huge message to Simbwa’s bosses as he continues to revive the club’s season that had gone off track.
