Kampala Queens FC vs Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC – Lugogo
Rines SS WFC vs Makerere University WFC – Kyabaggu

She Corporate FC and Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC will both be away from home on Sunday as the FUFA Women Super League title race heads into a decisive stage with only two matches left to play.

Both sides know what is at stake, and any slip-up could prove costly in the race for the league crown.

She Corporate FC currently lead the table with 50 points, while Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC sit second with 48 points.

Should She Corporate FC defeat Uganda Martyrs and Kawempe Muslim fail to beat Kampala Queens FC, She Corporate would officially be crowned champions.

However, if Kawempe Muslim secure victory against Kampala Queens FC and She Corporate are held to a draw by Uganda Martyrs in Lubaga, Kawempe would move to the top of the table on head-to-head advantage.

In their previous fixtures, She Corporate FC defeated St Noa Girls FC 2-1 in Njeru, while Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC overcame Rines SS WFC 2-1 at Kawempe.

In the reverse fixtures earlier this season, Kawempe Muslim played to a 1-1 draw against Kampala Queens FC, while She Corporate FC comfortably beat Uganda Martyrs 4-1.

The Sharks forward Jesca Namanda currently leads the league’s top scorers chart with 15 goals and will be confident heading into the match against a side she scored a brace against in the first leg.

Kawempe Muslim’s Latifah Nakasi is second on the scoring charts with 13 goals and will also be eager to boost her tally as the race for the Golden Boot intensifies.

Kawempe Muslim duo Krusum Namutebi and Agnes Nabukenya have been away with the Uganda U20 Women’s National Team, with Nabukenya playing the full 90 minutes on Saturday and potentially facing fatigue ahead of Sunday’s fixture.

Meanwhile, She Corporate FC’s Jesca Namanda and head coach Belyse Ininahazwe head into the match after winning the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League Player and Coach of the Month awards for April respectively.

If both She Corporate FC and Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC win their matches on Sunday, the league title race will be decided on the final matchday of the season.

She Corporate FC will host She Maroons FC in their final fixture, while Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC will welcome already relegated Olila High School WFC.
