Amus College WFC vs Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC, 10:00 AM – Mbale

Kampala Queens FC vs Lady Doves FC, 3:00 PM – Lugogo

The 2026 FUFA Women’s Cup semi-finals get underway on Saturday with the first-leg fixtures as Kawempe Muslim Ladies and Kampala Queens look to gain an early advantage in their quest for a place in the final.

Kawempe Muslim Ladies will travel to Mbale to face defending champions Amus College WFC in what promises to be a highly competitive encounter.

The fixture is a repeat of last year’s final, where Amus College edged Kawempe Muslim 1-0 to lift their maiden FUFA Women’s Cup title.

Saturday’s clash therefore presents Kawempe Muslim with an opportunity to avenge that defeat and take a crucial first-leg advantage as they pursue a domestic double after winning the 2025/26 Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League title.

Historically, the two sides have met four times, with Kawempe Muslim winning two matches, and two draws. Notably, both teams have scored in each of their previous four meetings.

In the other semi-final, Kampala Queens will host Lady Doves at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, with the Queens of Soccer aiming to take control of the tie before the return leg.

The two teams have met only once before in the FUFA Women’s Cup, with Lady Doves registering a 3-0 victory in the quarter-finals of the 2019 edition.

However, Kampala Queens have enjoyed recent dominance in the fixture. The Queens of Soccer defeated Lady Doves 3-0 the last time the two sides met at Lugogo and have won each of their last six meetings against the visitors.

Overall, the two clubs have faced each other 11 times, with Kampala Queens winning eight matches, drawing two and losing just once.

Kampala Queens have also received a major boost with the return of forward Catherine Nagadya, who missed the quarter-final fixture through suspension. The striker boasts an impressive record against Lady Doves and is expected to play a key role in the first leg.

Both Kampala Queens and Lady Doves remain in pursuit of their maiden FUFA Women’s Cup title, adding extra significance to Saturday’s encounter at Lugogo.
